I am having problems while playing back MPEG files (many of them created with TMPGEnc - Video CD PAL template, but also some downloaded). Playback is fine (mostly ZoomPlayer), but if I use FastForward or Rewind keys, after 2-3 skips, when it returns to normal, the playback is faster then the original (my estimate - 1.5x).
What is happening here? I don't think my puter is too slow (Athlon 1.2G, WinXP). Maybe the codec is screwed up? I can't make out what codec is it in the device manager - maybe I should look in other place?
I really need this solved. Please help! If you need any more details about my setup, I'll post them later.
