MPEG 2 and Adobe Premiere 6

Do you know how i can import a Mpeg 2 File in Premiere 6 ??
Is this only possible with a plugin ?
And what a plugin ??

Use Dvd2avi and vfapi reader to make an virtual avi.
Audio wil be treated as seperate wav file.

Or write an script for avisynth.

Both work equally well.
