Did you use FlashGet to download it? I think that jc is the extension FlashGet appends to files it downloads. Try renaming it to filename.mp3 and see if you can play it.
jc is the temporary extension file used by Flashget while it's being downloaded till it's get completed. You also can configure flashget to change this jc extension to other you like, but it's the same thing.
