i'm not sure what you try to ask;

but i know e.g. Steinberg's myMP3 needs DirectX installed for using the audio plugin processors and for the visualization plugins;

i think almost every recoder/player combo proggie suport direct pluggin (more expensive once)

i think myMP3 is not able to use a WL-DX plugin; but i will try it tomorrow, when i'm working on my music machine;
sorry, i have no idea which player can do that;

No, there is none that can use DirectX or VST plugins.

myMP3 is compatible with VST plugins; i'm using Spectral Design's "TL Audio EQ-1" and "Magneto 1.5" in myMP3 Pro 4.0

i tried it with TC Works "TC Native Reverb" DX version and Steinberg's "ME FreeFilter" DX version, both didn't work;

myMP3 is not a multimedia player- although it can be used as such.

Anything with DirectX support is scary DirectX compromises Security.

i've no DirectX support in my machine i hate it.

Well,i gonna say opposite of all other guys--dont shoot me please!!!I was using mymp3pro3.01 as a player and it worked great.....If i remember good it had slots--4 or 8 of them and you could use for example steinberg plugins--declicker,denoiser or whatever!!!!!!It was doing job just as any other audio editor!!!!So my opinion is that you can use steinberg-wavelab plugins in mymp3pro3.01---do not know for version4---also,i dont have a mymp3pro4--is it good--if somebody can pm me and let me know??

Litlle edit;i dont understand what exactly you want????So if your question is can you use pluginsfrom wavelab??--yes you can----but they are vst!!!!!
