mp3 live lp transfer

ok i have a two cd live lp i know that both will fit on a 80 min cdr
how can i transfer all the tracks to an 80min cdr without breaking up each track to mp3 so what id like is it to play like it is on the orignal cd but have them both on one cd there are no blank spaces on the orignal how can i aciieve this aim iv tried turning all of them into mp3 tracks and then back to cda with nero and setting zero for gaps still i can hear where it breaks when next track starts and it sucks when you listen back as it should be flawless help ideas please

1. look at this: http://www.cdrbase.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24820

2. rip the albums as complete wave stream;

3. add the 2 wave streams (albums) to 1 large wave with a real wave editor;
set title markers per hand; use boundary marker, no start/end marker (The track boundary marker indicates the end of one track and the start of another. In other words, it's a combined start and end marker without a gap between.)

4. use the burn engine of the real wave editor

it's not to big; for a real AudioCD the file size of the previously *.wav is fully indifferently;
only the time span of the music is important (Red Book Standard is 74 min);
80 min are possible, but not standard, maybe not all players can play them;

so it's time to set the title markers (specified in my posting above)
and then burn your first self mastered AudioCD;

Duracell was wright on with his post,but Nero wont doit(Im a big Nero fan,but....)....To do that you need good audio software feurio,Seqouia,sSamplitude,and few more....Also you have to have compatioble cd drive.....I know that my friend doing that wit feurio,and it did great job....Im using Magix programs for that and if you have any of this 2 i can guide you a bit,and aftewr you doit you`ll see is not that hard.Also Im 99% sure you can use soundforge,or wavelab....New wavelab supports it,and soundforge too(even old 5 versions-if i remember good)....Good luck:)

i didn't tried Feurio, but i think you can't master a non stop live LPs with Feurio;
the reason is, you need a really wave editor which supports boundary markers too (not only start/end markers ) as title markers;
eg WaveLab (which points my link above) is a right way;

You could be right(im shure for start/end its supported)...Btw Feurio is a cheap soft,but its a very good(my opinion)....In a software paying world i would buyit for sure(in this world demo is good enoughf for me--no limitations-only painless nags)...Btw for fender62 indexs are embedded in a subchannel---so look for soft which got that option....also if your drive got confused,or dont do the task,its a very possiblle that is not compactiblle....And for last;If you allready got waves and want to keep them that way,why would you convert that to mp3s---do i missing something???

Feurio can master that kind of CDs, unlike Nero.
This is from the help:

"· Insert no pauses between the tracks - round track marks
In this mode Feurio! do not insert any pauses between the wave files, the wave files will be burned directly one after the other.
Unfortunately there is a little problem with it:
Due to the structure of the CD directory the start of a track always has to be a sector start. A CD-Audio sector contains 588 samples.
If you use wave files that do not contain a multiple of 588 samples the next starting position can not be set exactly. In this mode Feurio! sets the track mark to the nearest sector start, i. e. the start position will be shifted a maximum of 294 samples.
If you attach great importance to exact start positions, you have to choose the mode ”Minimum pauses - Fill up tracks to multiple of sector size”

· Minimum pauses - Fill up tracks to multiple of sector size
In this mode Feurio! inserts exactly as many null samples at the end of each wave file as are required to get a multiple of the CD sector size.
If the used wave files already contain a multiple of the CD sector size, no additional null samples are added. "

You should try Feurio if you want the best audio burning program.

thanks everyone for your help what iv have done so far like i said two live cd's into i did that mad them one give wav file great i thought problem now is its to big to fit on an 80min cd were as before when i turned them into mp3's they would fit on to an 80min cd perfectly i guess thats it wav is bigger than mp3 file wise can you make a wav file smaller like with mp3. its a pity
you cant have mp3 without gaps

Also if its around 8o minutes you can overburn it or use 90 minutes cds...With my new 40x burner i can overburn to 99min/59sec....:) This is my 4th burner and never had any probs despite those overburning"warning""messAGES WHICH CAN BE turned of easily.....

How 80 minutes audiocd can be in gigabytes.....Every standard wav is 16b/44100hz....you can fit it on cd,unless somobody was playing with frequenzy(or who knows what---dts.....dd5.1-----can those cds play in a 6-7 years home stereo----if it can its a standard audio cd.....I said that couse new players can play mp3....and oyher things---old ones not)...To make it simply;If its your wav is 80 minutes you can put it on a 80 min. cd--NO matter what....Unless is a non-standard audio cd---end of story!!!

Yes you can, if you make a continuous wave file, as described in earlier posts, you can encode it to mp3 and it will remain continuous. (Use LAME 3.92 for best results)

Then you can have your cake and eat it too.

The only way they would have fitted on a CD before (as MP3) is if it was a Data (MP3) CD and not an audio burn - unless something VERY wierd is happening. If the expanded WAV is much over 1GB, then it'll be too big even for a 99min CD

thanks for your advise;
but i have already chosen my best audio burning program: Steinberg's WaveLab 4
intuitive handling, a good helpfile in case of a blackout and a detailed more then 700 paged manual (also usable as a tank barricade) :D
