Mozilla 1.6alpha for windows!

Changelog : hxp://www.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla1.6a/changelog.html
Rather big changelog 550 issues fixed!!

Get it at : fxp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.6a/mozilla-win32-1.6a-installer.exe

Some good fixes (and very few new bugs) have been landing (in the builds thread in their forum), for some time.

The effort going into the change of focus between "Mozilla Suite" and the individual Firebird/ThunderBird components (or perhaps the fact that it is looking "Mature" with the major feature set now in) seems to be leading to good things.

Well has anyone tried it yet?
I'm on an isdn 64 and it's rather big for me...
Can't wait for my dsl..

I am using currently "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.6a) Gecko/20031101 Firebird/0.7+" which is the latest Firebird nightly build for Linux (the one with Gnome Toolkit 2 widgets and XFT support), and up to now it proves itself the best Firebird/Mozilla build I have ever used. Since this build is directly based on the 1.6a code, the rest are self explicable...
It's not easy to upgrade just Mozilla in Linux, as in that case you brake lots of dependencies (to Galeon and Gnome Desktop, for example), you can just make a new local Mozilla installation, or upgrade your version from source, which is laborous.

Thanx for the reply scarecrow.I'm using firebird 0.7 for linux.
OK I'm gonna to give mozilla 1.6a a try in windows..
