Movie on hard drive

I have a 7.3 gig soccer movie on hard drive.
What prog can I use to split this in half so I can fit it on 2 DVDs.
I would then likely burn it with Nero.

There are 2 folders
Audio_ts
And
Videp_ts , and all files inside the Video_ts folder start with VTS_

does that help

How can DVDXCOPY Platinum do this, the source is on the hard drive, and platinum cannot browse to a file location.
If I am wrong please explain

ALSO, I am not familiar with DVD Shrink, but Ithe name seems to indicate that it will shrink the image down to 1 DVD, which I DO NOT want. I want to keep the true full lenght

Sorry I aplogise Its not DVD X Copy Platinum...
DVDShrink 3.1.2 Will Split it on two DVD Disc...

Even if it has the Compression You can still do it with no compression..

You can use DVDFab to split the dvd to fit 2 dvd disks with no change in compression. The dvd will be as you have it except it will be split to fit 2 dvd disks. The earlier free version of Dvdfab can still be obtained here http://www.mrbass.org/ and the commercial trial version from here http://www.dvdfab.com/

Dvdfab is the software i use to split a dvd movie to fit 2 disks, its fast and does the job well.

I do not see how you can split the whole movie so it fits on 2 DVD blanks..I have tried 2 times and it always puts it on 1 DVD. I set it to 0 compression, etc
Have you actually done this. If yes, please explain a bit more

Load Up DVDShrink..

Boot up your DVD movie.. Then click Authour.. You then select which title or chapter you want to put and then burn it...

Expalining in isnt easy but Ill see if I can find a tutorial that what I followed...

are you referring to dvd shrink or dvdfab?

i have a similar problem
i need a good program (looking for free one) to burn my dvd (now unlocked on hard drive and under 4.3gb) onto my blank DVD

i have dvdxcopy platinum (need DVD to copy) and Sonic DVD (doesnt seem to be applicable here)

there has to be a free one out there somewhere that will let us just do the burn now that we have it unlocked.

So far I have decrypted the DVD and put in on hard drive (done with DVD decrypter)
Then I have used DVDstripper to remove the files that i don't want and to make it fit onto one DVD and "processed" the files so that i have Audio_TS and Video_TS folders
Now that brings me to ImgTool to burn my DVD. After downloading ImgTool and Nero. This is what i get when i try to burn the DVD.

Any ideas as to why i have having this problem?

Im out of my league when it comes to dvd m8 :) but you might wanna try manually renaming a copy of your VIDEO_TS.IFO and VTS_01_0.IFO to VIDEO_TS.BUP and VTS_01_0.BUP (before making an image) then exchange the new bup files for the old(bup files are backups of the ifos).

Also nero has had some problems with dvd structure lately, should be fixed in the latest though.
And are you using imgtool (nero api) or the imgtoolclassic(mkisofs)? If you are using the latter why not give dvddecrypters burning a go :)

Forgot to say, i see you are using aspi 4.71. Generally v 4.60.1021(forceaspi) is the version adviced :)
