Missing extras in dvdstripper listing

I have an already complete dvd decrypted with dvddecrypter on my HD( I do not have the original anymore, rental you know). I made an iso file of it and mounted it in deamon. Then started dvdstr. and did it let it do its work. While browsing through the ripped files I noticed that it only gave me 10 VTS files. In the image are files from VTS_01_* --> VTS_19_* (these are the extras, the movie is VTS_20_*)

The extras I removed are not working anymore(good), but the extras which were not in the ripped files browser still work (bad)

What is going wrong?

BTW this is the Pal DVd of the Lion King(disc one)

Hi

1st post in 2 years, WOW again as this doubles the record of 1 year :)

I'm sorry but I cannot really offer any more advice regarding rental DVD's or known copyrighted DVD's :(

It may be legal to backup rentals in some countries but I'd rather not reply just in case :)

This was cdr forum before wasn't it. Perhaps previous postings got lost.

Rental or not. Why does dvdstr not give me the rest of the extras in browsing.

I can remove the extras with instantcopy but the menu gets screwed so I bought this program, at least i can expect some support with this "bug" in the program.

I'm new to the forum so I don't know about the history of cdrbase but I think a lot has changed regarding the rules. I'm not sure if it's a 'bug' but like I'd rather not offer support in this case

I take it you have missed the Notes on the www.dvdstripper.com page, which is also in a readme document within the zip file that you are asked to read

sorry :(

You mean "Some DVD's actually contain video that is not visible using normal players as they are actually within the subtitles"

But I think this is not what is it here. There are vob files 12, 13, 22, 23, 25.
I can view these files in powerdvd. But they don't show up in dvdstr browser.

Perhaps it is better that you remove this thread(you are a moderator so i think you can), so we can start it over again without the 'legal' thing.

Perhaps you can just edit your initial post to clarify that it was NOT a rental DVD but one you own.
