DV tape to DVD one click software?

I've been fooling around with DVD-rw for over a year now. My original intentions for the dvdrw was to copy all my miniDV tapes to them but in the early days it required to much effort and time and I lost interest and started backing up my dvd collection. I figured by now something has come out that should ease the pain of converting miniDV to dvd.
Has anyone come out with something simple to copy your miniDV home movies to DVD? I'm not interested in editing the tapes. I just want to make working DVD backups without artifacts.... Plus possibly an automatic scene sensor.
You know, something real simple... like plug your camera in put a blank dvd-r in, press the start and in a couple of hours you're done.

Pinnacle's Studio will capture and burn for you right from a firewire DV camera connection. If you do that directly, there is no real audio synch problem. If you capture to AVI and convert separately, the audio is a problem. Directly does it all for you. Only $69 or so as well.

Thanks for the tip! Whats the quality like. I've noticed with other products that I usually pickup a lot of artifacts with the encoding, it varys depending on the encoder. What's your opinion of Pinnacle's results?

I have gotten very good results. Even when copying (or streaming) a VHS to(through) my DV camera to DVD mpg. Sometimes I do just to AVI, then edit and use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make menus. Almost as good as Vegas Video, and about $400 less.
