Min Spec for 52246S

My question my be stupid but......

I've seen a post somewhere which highlights the min spec to include CPU Pentium 166MHz or faster, 128MB DRAM required.

I've got PC133 SDRAM (half a gig) - is this really going to cause problems?

Hmmm.... your RAM is faster than the spec. (SDRAM is faster than DRAM). Plus, you have 512mb of it which is great.

If you are running PC133mhz RAM you must have a faster processor than a Pentium 1 166mhz processor (what is it by the way?). Perhaps you are getting the two specs. mixed up?!

So yes you should be fine bud! Just make to get it set up right (like the The-poacher implied) and you should be fine. :)

Thanks for the quick responses!!

I'm certainly a little confused. Memory is definitely PC133 SDRAM.

Processor is PIII 667.

Currently have Plexwriter 24/10/40A.

The scary thing is that somebody has bought the new drive for me in return for building them a PC

Your computer is just fine, and the Plex will serve you OK, although I must warn you that it is extremely picky on media.
