Microsoft form partnership with japanese ISP's

Microsoft representatives in Tokyo have reportedly inked deals with 11 of the country's broadband Internet Service Providers in preparation for the launch of its Xbox Live service. Thereby, the online service providers will begin offering special discounts and software packages for customers who sign up for service and preorder Xbox Live kits. Among the list of participating companies are NTT Communications, Global Media Online, Japan Telecom, NEC Biglobe, BB Technologies, and Dream Network, among others. Specifics regarding broadband service packages and pricing vary depending upon the provider. For reference, Microsoft is scheduled to launch the Xbox Live online game service beginning January 16 in Japan.
