Are you using a 80 pin udma ribbon cable on your hardrive?? The Bios might be reporting that the device is capable of udma ata 100 (or 133 may be the case) but the cable is not present.

Well,My hd is prettynew(less then year---80gb-7200rpm),but pc come with all cables--they are all 40 pins?What i should check?and where???Is it problem couse i got a scsi card too?Btw,everything works ok!-i`m just curius!

in order for a ATA 66/100/133 drive to operate at its full potential...you must use a 80pin ribbon cable for the IDE hard drives....right now you have a 40pin and will not get ATA performance from your hard drives....replace them with 80pin ATA 100/133 cables and your hard drives will transfer data faster....when booting some bios report the ATA...mine reports UDMA 6 (ATA 133).....UDMA 5 is ATA 100....
