Menus and movie split up in 20 min segments. What do I do wrong?

Just purchased DVDStripper and tried to make my first backup. I want to remove the extras and preferably some of al the menus (there's 20 different menus and warnings depending on the language you choose). To start off I merely removed the extras and processed the file, but when playing the output it treats all the menus as clips and just goes through all of them by itself and then starts playing the movie which I can see by the time remaining is split up into 20 min. segments. So for each 20 minutes the player (Zoom Player) loads the next segment, making interruptions in the movie.
Why is the main movie not shown as one movie, but instead a lot of parts?
Why does the menu not act like a menu?
Do I have to manually edit something?

Have you tried another player? E.G. PowerDVD or WinDVD or Nero's own player?

Did you strip out all the little "blank" or black screens? It sounds like you stripped out the navigational pathing.

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

do you have the full registered version of Zoomplayer?. The free version does not playback as a DVD player

this may sound silly but it sounds like you have just dropped all the VOB's into the player as this is exactly what would happen

if you don't have the full version of Zoomplayer then you need to try something like PowerDVD as this allows DVD playback from the Hard Drive

if you do have the full version of Zoomplayer then have you tried the DVD in another player?

I have the full version yes and can play ripped DVD's (with DVDDecrypter or DVDShrink) from my harddisk or DVD fine in Zoomplayer. But yes I think somethings happens to the files making Zoom Player think that the files are just a series of movies and not a DVD. But since I cannot edit the files in any other program I have (DVDShrink, DVD2One both give errors), I do think the error lies in the movie files and not the player.

this is because the structure will be messed up as there are some DVD's that will have issues no matter what you do with them :(. I can fix them manually no problem but it takes ages and again it's automating the process ;)

DVDStripper version 021 has fixed a bug that will probably fix 90% of the problematic DVD's. Sadly there is another Ifoedit issue that we cannot yet overcome with some DVD's but we will get there ;)

try it in another player and also try using an older version of DVDShrink. If this doesn't work then put this DVD aside and you can try 021 when it comes out and see if that fixes it :)

Well I fixed the reason it wont play now. Had to select Open Files and select VTS_01_0.VOB. Before I selected Open Directory. Now there's only the matter of being able to open it in DVD-Shrink or similiar so I can edit the movie and menu to be able to fit it on one CD.

Well...I was wrong. After 29 secs in the movie it goes back to the menu again. Damn you ...ummm censored green ogre!

WinDVD can't play it properly either. It also does weird stuff after 29 secs. All I did was removing the extras. I did not touch the menu at all!
