Menu Modder - I'm ALMOST doing it correctly!

.. but not quite! I successfully removed the elements I didn't want using DVDStripper. I then loaded the menus and toggled to remove one from a screen of five or six. I then burnt the disk which plays fine. The only issue, and it's a small one, but probably means I'm getting something slightly wrong, is that on the screen with the menu item I've removed, if I click on that menu item the icon changes to red and I can't move up or down the other items in the menu, I can only get out by pressing Stop or choosing the main menu option on my remote.

So, what did I do wrong?!!!

Hi and welcome to the forums

what you need to do is use the text editor part and bypass the button by changing the Up/Down/Left/Right values so it cannot even be selected

it sounds complicated but its real easy to do once you know how

if you upload a pic of the values and tell me which button you want removing I can tell you what values to change to skip it

Thanks - I've finished with that disk now (doesn't matter, just need to remember not to click on the offending item!) but I will try what you recommend next time!!
