Hi There,
New to this and would like to know the best media to use here in the UK. The one i'm using, although the quality is brilliant, keep freezing on other people's dvd's but not mine for some reason.
I hope someone can help.

most of the forum will say anything with a ritek dye are good just have to check b4 you buy what your getting look for the codes g03(2xi think) g04(4x) go5(think these are up to 8x)

Also depends on the drive - if you don't have DVD+R to DVD-ROM bitsetting, then DVD-R is definitely better for standalone players.

The ANV 8x G05 could be magic, could be tragic - Liteon's G05 write strategy is completely stuffed, but on drives that like G05, they should do well.
