making a backup of a backup PS2 game

Can someone point me in the right direction for making a backup of a backup PS2 game. I've tried using DVDDeCripter and DVDClone...but neither seems to handle this task. When using the DVDDeCripter...when I try to write the backup DVD to my harddrive it errors out at about 49% ( I've tried multiple games and they all do this). Is there another software product that would allow me to 'make a backup of a backup'? Thanks!
