looking for software to covert large avi to vcd

after decode the avi is to large for 700 meg cd . how do I chop up the avi

Use Chickenmans tutorial to covert avi to mpeg.
Then cut mpeg in 2 with tmpgenc and burn with Nero.
Look in the movies section for the tutorial.

Do a Google search for AviChop v. 0.2. A very simple, easy way to split your movies.

P.S.- It's freeware!
