i have windows xp corp. when i restart my computer i get window that says that my password expires on a couple of days do i want to change it. when i click on yes it asks me for my old password (have no idea what it is) i don't know where this came from can someone help me sort out this problem.

login as admin and go to control panel / admin tools to change the password.... then change the policy for passwords changes / timeouts etc
this may or may not work...I never used it before since I usually use the admin tools....
go to control panal / user accounds and click on remove password...
