Logitech MX5000

Hi all,

I have a Logitech MX5000 keyboard/mouse combo. Keyboard and mouse work fine through it though
and the setpoint software does recognize my units.
My computer does not recognize the USB Dongle as an USB device has anyone come across this unit and might have a solution to the problem.
I am trying to utilize the Bluetooth dongle as my primary Bluetooth adapter and it should work.

Try reinstalling the usb driver for your device.

Have done several times even got a new dongle and still the same.
Tried a different computer no difference.
must be the dongle faulty how lucky can you be two in a row.

HAVE you tried different usb ports !?

are your ports USB 1 or USB 2 ?

Is the dongle USB 1 or USB 2 ?

have you tried on someone elses machine !?

are your USB ports onboard or on a PCI card

try these methods and try a different machine and see how you get on

tried 3 different ports, first one card then another card then onboard
I have USB 1 and 2
Onboard and Cards
Tried three different computers all the same
dongle USB I don't know? does not say it anywhere
It is Bluetooth 2.0 might be an indication
will try to get a third dongle to see if it is different
third time lucky
