Liteon is the Best IMHO.

I just tried the liteon LTR-52327S and I can burn at 52x with out a problem.:D I used the same cdr's that the Norcent52x:p couldn't burn at 52x with out a problem. I would burn a lot of coaster with the norcent if I went above 40x!! So I say norcent is not worth any amount of money never mind the fact that they don't want to pay out on their rebates!!!! I paid $35 (US) for the liteon and its well worth it. :D Thanks liteon for another great product.

I have one too bud (LTR-52327S) and must agree. Damn fine burner especially for free... all I had to do was pay the taxes, the rest came back as rebates!

Yep this burner will write at 52X to a beermat I reckon. :D

And IMHO one of LiteOn's great strengths has always been not just the actual burn speed but the seek & lead in/out times too. Compared to a Plextor the equiv Litey runs rings around it timewise if you are doing a batch of CDR's. ;)

Currently have a Liteon LTR 24102B (a bit dated by todays standards) and it has performed flawlessly for over a year, but now starting to play up. Was thinking about the LTR 52327S and your comments have persuaded me to go for it.

Thanks
George

I have 2 lite-on 52246S's. Early on they made a few coasters till i upped my ram to 1.6gb's. Not a problem since. Before them I always used plextor. But, you just can't beat the speed and the pricing of the lite-ons. I think i'll stick with them.
