LiteOn 52246S UDMA Setting?

Hello ALL:

Just a quick question. I have a new 52246S and it seems OK. I have some issues with BackupMYPC and may try BackupNOW! (which is better?), but I wonder what the UDMA setting should be in CMOS?

I also have a second system and it too has a 52246S. It has an advanced tab if I click the ide properties tab in Device Manager.

In the other system there is no advanced tab in device manager for IDE.

The only way I can set it is in CMOS. Should it be UDMA 2 or 4 or ???

Also, anyone know why 1 system does NOT have advanced tab in ide properties? Both systems are using XP PRO with latest SP's.

I doubt that it would be as high as UDMA 4 - that's ATA/66
I have seen (my DVD-ROM) a UDMA 2 (ATA/33) optical drive.

Yep! - UDMA 2 - quicker to go there than to navigate Liteon's site!
