Liteon 401s speed problems

HELP!! When I first bought this Liteon 401S about three months ago, it was reading dvd's and only taking about 20-30 minutes for an entire disc, now its taking almost 2 hours to read each disc. Write speed is still about 20 minutes. Can someone please help me?

What software do you use to read the disks and what settings do you use?
I think it isn't a DMA problem,otherwise the writing time would also increase a lot...
