Liteon 40125S or W? what's the difference?

Hi, I have just purchased a Liteon 40125S, my system reports that it is a 'W'. What is the difference? I just flashed the firmware to WS05, the latest according to their website, it came with WS04 installed. Reviews I have of the 's' version say that it is mount ranier compatible, and that it show's this in Nero. Nero tells me no such thing. Have I been ripped off?

Obviously the answer is really simple so nobody has replied yet, but I can't see it, so please, someone put me out of my missery.

Thanks pokopiko, where do I get this magic firware from, and is it safe to use?. I am using the latest WS05 firmware, but nero still reports that it isn't MR compatible.

Thanks for the utility, is it the ' R48VS06 ' firmware I should use? Also, is there an article I can read where they use this firmware with the ' wrong ' drive?
