Liteon 24102B with WinOnCD 5.0

does any1 know how to make the WinOnCD 5.0 to recognize my Liteon 24x cd burner? I downloaded the updated and it said to recognize my burner, after i install, i would not recognize my burner. Right now i have two burners, Sony CRX140E and the Liteon 24102B. WinOnCD only recognized my sony one. Can Someone help me??? Thank you.

Try disabling dma for the liteon.

Where did you get WinOnCD 5.0 at??? Is it in english I've been looking for this!!!

i actually got the German version, but it also came with a english patch. I just patch it and now it has english interface. about disable dma thing, would it be better if dma is enabled for most cdrw? There's no other way to get WinOnCD 5.0 to recognize the liteon? Any1 got any idea.

I had to disable dma for my liteon when there was 2 devices on my ide cable.Got a pci card and did it that way.

so if i have 2 devices (Pioneer DVD and Liteon 24x burner) on one ide channel, i should disable the dma for one of it? Which one should i disable, the dvd rom or burner? How do i do that under windows xp?
