yup agreed. It won't be able to do many copy protections.
Interestingly though I was at a show this past week on some hi-tech stuff & panasonic had some nice new burner with new media (I believe they are using blue laser) & the CD-R they have are 25-50Gigs. WOW! lol

Well, I have an HL -DT -ST CD-RW GCE-8160B LG burner that supports all features needed by CloneCD (RAW-DAO 96, buffer underrun protection, correct EFM-Encoding) and I think that is excellent.
Of course the readers from LG that I tried are not as good as the LG burners.
