Latest Backups only play on PC

I've backed up many of my DVD's but the last two will only play on PC
Can a firmware update cause this
My Burner stopped reading CD's and support recommended firmware update

Micro Advantage Burner
DVD Shrink
Nero 5.5 with latest update
AMD 2600
1 Gig Ram

Juliet is checked could this be the problem?
But default is checked & I had been using nero express @ defaults without a problem until I updated the burner firmware.

Any help would be appreciated

The easy way out for Support is to alway suggest a F/W update

You should NOT have Juliet enabled and you should be burning in UDF/ISO mode with Nero 5.5 and not the DVD-Video option.

I'd been burning for a couple of months w/ nero express DVD Video mode
without a problem, better lucky than good I guess.
Switched to UDF/ISO mode and all is well again.

The best way to use C/mans (& the other tutes) is to print em so U can peruse whilst doing the job.
There are some excellent tutes on this forum & I have used them from way back & yep I missed things too <> but if U follow them properly U will get results!!
