I wonder if anyone can help me...I bought the Kworld DV/AV Expert TV Stereo card which is used to capture video and watch TV. The problem is that I cannot get a signal from my vcr to my card...I have connected the scart from my VCR to the video-in RCA input but I cannot get anything to show...what am i doing wrong? I get the same static with all capture programs I use (Power VCR and Power Director, Pinnacle Studio 8, WinDVD Creator, Nerovision Expres...). Any help will be much appreciated.

no help at that thread-thanks. I do not have an aerial cable in the pc room so i cannot test it. The VCR has only two scart connections and the connection for the antenna and the output to TV. I got all the right drivers etc., the video is working OK so I am really lost here...

move your PC to your TV room and connect the antenna cable; believe me it's the best way to check if your PC is the problem or your cables/adapters/VCR;

Problem solved! I deleted the devices from the device list and re-installed them with the original drivers-not the new ones from K-world...everything works fine...now I just have to buy a proper sound card cause the motherboard sound card has got no proper line-in-so audio has to go thru microphone and it sucks....Thanks again for the help-much appreciated

nice to hear you got it fixed;

Are you sure you don´t have a line-in, several models out there switch between outputs and inputs in the same connector using the mixer, why don´t you check this before buying another card? ;)
