kvcd to dvd

hi chickenman and celtic druid. back again. wonder if you could advise me as to how i can convert a kvcd movie to dvd-r and what progs are needed?

Same as a regular VCD or any other kind of XVCD. The audio will definatly need re-encoding though and I am not sure, but I guess the video may not be DVD compliant.

Probably the easiest program is TMPGEnc DVD Author. Yoy may however want to re-encode the video to full res MPEG2 for this I would use CCE, frameserving the mpg via AVISynth.
 
The mpg file will most defenitely need re-encoding to DVD compliance. As per C_D's suggestion or a simpler way is to use Mainconcept. Just set to Elementry streams and LPCM or WAV audio. It will automatically convert the audio to 48khz. Just use the latest BeSweet to convert the WAV to AC3 then author in TMPGEnc DVD Author or whatever. You wont see any difference between the original quality of the mpeg1 and what MainConcept produces.
 
No speciic guide, what I said above is really all you need, you can get anything more simpler than MainConcept to use.
