keeps crashing

Hi,

Dont know if anyone can help or has come across a similar problem. I have recently upgraded my graphics card to a g-Force 4 ti4600, loaded on driver's that came with the cd (also tried drivers from the website) + direct x 8.1 etc etc etc. Problem i am having is games seem to be crashing. Have loaded on james bond night fire and no one lives forever 2, intros play fine but as soon as i start playing the games they both just hang after about 10 seconds. Also running windows xp home, AMD athlon 1.33MHZ processor, 512MB memory. Have ran dxdiag and the only problem that reports is the file nv4_disp.dll is not digitally signed.

Anyone got any suggestions

john

If I remember correctly,there were some issues with XP,directx and AMD processors when playing games,M$ has a fix for it @ their downloads section........
Maybe it solves your problem....:)

check also the HP of your MB/Chipset fabricator, if AGP driver updates are available;
sometimes also a new graphic card requires a new MB-BIOS;
