do i still have to type: "regsvr32 /u mmswitch.ax" to get the m$media player codec to work properly ?

i hate unreg-ing stuff in so-called good packages...:D

Cheers 4 the link

Any 1 else find that the config tool crashes every time, i mean the 1 that appears when U finish the install:(

Other than that it works ok, but me still miss the Kazap extentions as they really speeded things up

no ideas lol most people here recommend install only the codecs u need to use use gspot to find out what the media is coded in :)

K-lite Codec Pack

Pest Patrol detected AtomWire pest in the unins000.exe from AtomWire Media Corp. It is extremely hard to remove. Windows 2000 remove program was unable to do it.

Does anyone has the same experience here?

well i hd no problem with the codec pack and itold u guys the 2.11 suvked i would go back to 2.03 and use that unstill hey make the 2.11 oficial but the codec pacl i found is perfect o have been using it for about 2 months now and have had no problems with it

lol:) No probs dereaper

Me just the same.I tried the 2.11 release & did'nt like it much

yeah... intall Codec that you only need is right... don't want conflicts and flipped images or wacky mishaps...

Install Nimos' Codec pack Build 8' or better and update the featured codecs provided...

:D

i love kazaap

they removed it bc of ppl who have dsl it limits bandwidth but if u have a dial up its awesome so here it is if anyone wants it just unzip it to the kazaa lite plugin folder and thne go to the more kaza lite options screen and select plugins and find the kazaap dll file and load it.. then restart the client and u will have it back

Cheers dereaper:)

Im on broadband, but this will help out people that use dail-up

Personally i never had any bandwidth probs with kazap, i just liked the fact that it found more sources & automated clearing the lists. So much so that i ended up downgrading back 2 version 2.10e

2 dail-up user get the file dereaper has posted, it will really speed things up 4 U

Many Thanks dereaper:)

I just installed it on new built XP system and it runs great. I downloaded 3-4 large ISO files without any problem.
