hi everybody,it may be off topic question but i always relied on this forum for the best explanations.here's my problem,i recently subscribed to a cable system which is connected to my computer through a local network card the problem is now kazaa & flash get won't recognize it.and they act like there is no connection(i can't download a thing)though my internet connection and direct download are working normally with great speed.what is wrong and what shall ido

Try to make a new connection.
If you choose: Connect using a broadband connection that requires a user name and password" then you´ll have a WANMiniport(PPPOE connection)!
Or choose: Connect using a Dial-Up modem
When it asks for modem you´ll give the cable adaptor. (requires protokol or drivers to be installed)

Cable doesn't use PPPoE as protocol though.
Suggest if all else fails, you just uninstall those programs & try re-installing them again (this time with cable/broadband connection settings)
