itv digital box

hello
i have just bought a digi box and wanted to know if u can still get sky and other pay channels through it . i know b4 u used to put new codes in remote to have acess to all sky channels would like to know if this is still possible ,and how to do .
cheers for any help

correct itv/on digital is now free to air BBC digital

Do a channel store to get them all (but disregard a lot of the light green channel heading they are not there)

There is nothing spectacular but U do get ITV 2 & ITV news handy for champions league footie if U dont have a sky box

BBC have half indicated there may be pay channels later.;):)

hummm tryin to get hold of a ondigi/itv digi box myself for the free to air channels for upstairs !?...... they are like rocking horse doo doo now :(

i heard there 99 quid from currys viper :)

your supposed to get about 30 channels with the box,a one off payment for the box(£99) and there your for life,(or untill they fold ;) )

Ahh but why pay so much :)

Grundig GDT1000 is the best Digital Receiver for FreeView on the market, Index have them online for £75, they ran out just after I got mine but they are still selling them with a 3 week delay,

same insides as the Grundig GDT1500 that Curry's and Dixons are selling.

There is some corking stuff though if you're a discovery fanatic like me. No discovery mauybe but their uk history has me drooling.

bob lol moneysaving i already pay £38 for skyworld package a month and £30 a month adsl!!! :) mate lol so looking for a cheap alternative for the kids other than paying for another sky box and subscription !?
lol :)

My ADSL costs £22 including Domain name hosting, and I never could justify paying out nearly £40 a month for Sky so Freeview is all I got :(

well unless that goes tits up too :)

can't you get a splitter for Sky (about £90) then you'd have all your channels upstairs instead of just the free ones, I know it's extra money but at least you'd get your full service,

what Pi$$es me off is not being able to watch one Digital Channel and record another, I am not a big TV watcher at the best of times and tend to just record the odd program whilst watching another every now and again, and it amazed me that Digital TV was brought out with virtually no consideration for 30 year old video technology!

can't seem to find a VHS or DVD recorder with a built in Digital decoder! unless you want a hard drive recorder, Pace

i have all the channels upstairs for free using the digi box second r.f. output ...but..... only able to watch whatevers on the box downstairs without another subscription/box u will only ever be able to watch the same thing as everyonelse :(

Damn this Digital TV is more limited than I thought possible, what is the point of a splitter that only lets you watch the same channels on two TV's!

I am contracted to Force 9 for my ADSL and the service is generally excellent, the odd time I struggle to connect for maybe 5 mins but problems are quite rare, been with F9 for years, no bandwidth restrictions at all on my UL/DL.
