These are basic suggestions, I realize, but they may help.
1. Make sure the drive, in which you placed the disc you believe has an ISO file copied onto it, is a DVD-ROM drive that can read DVD data files. (Use "My Computer/right click on D drive, or whatever letter you're using)
2. See what files are on the drive, by going to My Computer/right click on DVD-ROM drive and choose Explore. If the files on the disc are true ISO files (usually just 1 big file), then Explorer will identify it as an "image file."
3. Eject the disc, turn it a few degrees, and put it back in the drive, then close disc holder. Sometimes the drive just doesn't read a disc, in the position it's put into the drive holder.
4. Try to get to another PC, to see if its DVD-ROM drive will recognize the ISO file. The process of elimination is still the best, for me.
