ISO FIles

tried to burn the ISO filr=e with nero and the cd will not work. I tried several different files all with the same outcome. I did look into the search engines and what i did find i tried and no good. I thank you for your help with this slight problem. I am used to working with many different file extensions, but I could never get the ISO files to burn right. Just frustrated i guess. thanks for any help that is offered.

Nero you must use the burn image option. You can try burnatonce, a free program that does CD and DVDs. Burns ISO, NRG, IMG files...

Checked works fine <> go to the downloads page!!
OK, i tried to burn the ISO image with nero 6 and nero kept telling me that there was not enough free space. I used standard 700mb and then used high capacity 90 and 99 min cd's. still will not work. any ideas? thanks guys, i'll try that site again. thanks......:)

have a try @ isobuster ;)
y not try something else from nero 6? if the size of ur iso is really > 700mb,don't think nero 6 without applying the proper patch will work coz overburning needs patching

I finally got the burnatonce program, i just had to disable thee firewall soft for a minute. Copied the ISO file and it will not work, the dvd player and liteon cdrw will not read the disk, I have no luck at all. Is there a way of "testing" the ISO file by burning to an cdrw first? thanks.....

You can try Daemon Tools, and see if they can mount your ISO image to their virtual CD drive...
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/portal/index.php
If it doesn't mount properly, then it's not a real ISO9660 image. If it mounts, then you can copy the virtual Cd which is mounted by any 1:1 copying utility out there (even Nero... although I cannot promise that!).
BTW ISOBuster will also be able to show you the ISO contents, as well as numerous other programs

I agree with Scarecrow; use Daemon Tools first (it's free) and mount the ISO. If you can mount it and view the contents, you should be able to burn it. BurnAtOnce can use overburn, just select it. Nero 6.0.0.15 can with a patch, 6.0.0.19 has the patch included (or 5.5.10.54, which I went back to after Nero 6 problems).
You can also use WinISO to view, insert, and extract files, but it is not free. DaemonTools is quick and easy and free. Try it!

diskjuggler will burn iso images as will many other programs ...

dvd decrypter has a iso write mode too :)
tried dvd decrypter, nero and burnatonce. dvd decrypter did not work, nero would work, burnatonce worked, but the disc will not work. How is discjuggler different? How do I know the ISO file is even good? any help would be welcome. thank you

Again, as Scarecrow suggested, try DaemonTools - see if they can mount your ISO image to their virtual CD drive...

By doing this FIRST, you will avoid a lot of wasted time burning a bad ISO image.
I will try that, but i've used this program before and the virtual drive it sets up caused all kinds of problems with my system...thanks

The iso has been working for most the games but after a few weeks stops and now I'm trying a couple of new games we just got and when the image file is made it is spit into 2 files(due to size?)Then the burn will only except one file to write
