Is this true or not? Deleting warning/titles/previews

I was told that DVDStripper only puts a blank file where you delete a warning or title screen, is this true?

I am looking for a program that will delete any warning and title screens that show up before the main menu. I also have some dvds that have previews before the main menu. Will DVDStripper compeletely delete these files from showing up before the menu, or will there just be a blank screen?

ALSO, some of these previews that show up are also accessed from the "Sneak Peeks" button on the main menu. Will I be able to access the previews from the main menu if they are taken out when they play before the main menu?

You came to the right place :)
DVDStripper replaces EVERY unwanted item with blank VOBS, be that in menus or main DVD material, which 'play' for a fraction of a second*.So that's as close to 'delete' as you can get without disrupting dvd structure.
As for the previews that show before the movie and as 'sneak previews', you can remove them, so they don't play, but also you can edit the 'sneak previews' button so they are not accessible anymore (they are not there anymore anyway). That last one can be done by using Menuedit from within DVDStripper.
Some companies put warning material in black VOBs as subtitles. These you cannot preview, but you can remove. They are easy to spot though. Usually it's a titleset with only one black VOB. I mean, hello?? :) If you want to make sure, use Subrip on them.

*Notice the "fraction of a second". No 'this item is removed screen', no 'slideshow', no nothing. :)

You can also run DVDShrink at the same time to see layout information. The preview window will show those subtitle warnings. It's not that difficult to match the layout from DVDShrink to the organization in DVDStripper to make sure you get the nasty little buggers.

To avoid any confusion: So far, those subtitle warnings are visible ONLY by using Subrip and only ONE company uses them. DVDShrink CANNOT preview them.
As I said, often* they are easy top spot:They are in a titleset 'alone':
Example:
when u see something like this in DVDStripper:
VTS_02_0.IFO 18kb
VTS_02_MENU_VOBID_001_CELLID_001_1.VOB 30kb
VTS_02_VOBID_001_CELLID_001_1.VOB 440kb
VTS_02_VOBID_001_CELLID_002_1.VOB 72kb
and
VTS_02_VOBID_001_CELLID_001_1.VOB 'plays' in preview app (even in Shrink), but is black, then it's 99.99999% sure it contains a warning.*

Normally (with no DVDStripper intervention) the same titleset shows like this:

VTS_02_0.IFO 18kb
VTS_02_0.VOB 30kb
VTS_02_1.VOB 512kb

And still plays 'black'
Sorry, I can't say anymore and stay 'legal' :) Once you spot one, you'll know what I mean. I'm always available through PM for further explanations :)

Have a nice Holiday!!!

*By 'often' I mean 95%, though I've seen them embedded in the main movie titleset. But in all recent titles, they are as the example above, and they play after you hit 'play' in main menu, before the movie.
