Is there any software supporting authoring DVCD?

DVCD is a DVD with the movies in VCD-quality but with the sound in 48000. At ***.vcdhelp.com you can find out how to create them manually, but wonder if there is any software where I can select some VCD-files - connect them to a menu - and then burn a DVCD. I have a lot VCDs and want to put them on a DVD to save some space. I think it was about 450 minutes of VCD-movies on a DVD...

Any software which creates this?

This is really more of a question for the DVD Forum than here. But the sound MUST be in 48kHz mode to work on a DVD and all standard VCD's have 44.1kHz sound, thats why it must be converted.

I do not know of any program that you can load a VCD in and it will convert and author to a DVD. Maybe one day someone might write one, but dont hold your breath waiting for it.
