is there a difference in the Audio CD quality ???

hi

i just want to know if there is a difference in the Audio CD quality that burn in Teac 40x and LiteOn 40x ???

why i hear there is a difference in the quality between writers ???

i think all the writing are same !!! they are all Digital !!! and the Audio data is same like game !!! ( correct me if i am wrong )

i have HP9300 and Plextor 24x and i don't see adiffernece in the quality between them !!!

i need info please !!!!!!!

thank you.........

the burning process is something different. No all burners are not the same ('cause they all develop their own types of technology *unless repackaged).
Some are better for reading & writing raw sectors & such (depending on protection schemes also).
What you will see a major difference in is copying/extracting the audio (as Lite-On's are just not good at audio extractions from original music CDs).
Digital is one thing, but you can also put that argument with software. Why is it that EAC (using Lame) is better than the old Audiograbber (using Xing)? They are both digital right? but they use different methods of reading.

Well that's all I'll say to leave room for a few more things that can be explained

PS
am moving this to the appropiate section

thank you for reply

ok

(as Lite-On's are just not good at audio extractions from original music CDs).

ok you mean the LiteOn is not good in reading Audio CD !! yes ..... so how about writing the Audio CD and using Toshiba DVD-Rom in Reading ??

and if slow down the reading and writing speed, so it will be good copy ? even in LiteOn ??

and what is the best program for audio extractions ??? i use MusicMatch.

now i am thinking on new writer and i have LiteOn 40x and Teac 40x, which one will be better for Audio ??? and which one will be better for copy protection ?? and which one will do the new audio protection ??

i appreciated your help.
