Iomega's 40x12x40 CD-RW is a rebadged Plextor

;) Iomega's 40x12x40 CD-RW is a rebadged Plextor.
Iomega drive has shown good features, great burning speed and good robustness. Digital Audio Extraction was also excellent, typical of Plextor's drive. Also, towards all the test, the drive is silent, no vibration of whatsoever, unlike the Yamahas. But perhaps the best of all is that you are getting a Plextor's drive at almost a S$100 cheaper than the original Plextor.
Yeah sounds bloody great 2 mi.

Guys,be careful with Iomega. The tech support is almost non-existant.I had a Philips rebadge. It took months to get a crucial firmware update because they changed the I.D.string.They may also change to another brand>Sanyo. So be careful, and good luck.

My money is on Lite-on & Plextor anyway....
Always watch-out for wolf's in sheep's clothing mi mum always sad.....:)
