Until now, if you wanted to use Yamaha's CRW-F1 CD-RW with your Mac, you had to get the external FireWire/USB or SCSI models. Yamaha is changing that with their latest internal model, the CRW-F1ZEM.
Yamaha Electronics Corporation continues its dedication to Macintosh® users by adding the internal CRW-F1ZEM to its arsenal of Mac® compatible CD recorders. The CRW-F1ZEM will be for use in Apple's® new dual processor Power Mac® G4 towers with dual drive bays (mirrored drive doors) and will be carried nationwide by retailers and distributors, including the Apple Store®.
The newest addition to Yamaha's growing award-winning family of top-of-the-line optical recorders is the first CD recorder to offer the revolutionary DiscT@2TM (Tattoo) Laser Labeling System, which allows graphics and text to be burnt onto CD-R discs, eliminating the need for labels. In addition to the new internal E-IDE (CRW-F1ZEM) model, Yamaha also offers two sleek Mac(TM) compatible external models: FireWire/USB (CRW-F1ZDX); and SCSI (CRW-F1ZSX).
