I used DVD Decrypter first and then used InstantCopy. I first set the "Source" as the file resulting from DVD Decrypter. The "Destination" was set to "Hard Disk". No problems there. I then set the "Destination" to the DVD burner (Toshiba SD-W2002). I also selected "Customize Size" as an option. I pressed "Start" and then InstantCopy goes through the preparation phase. THe "Customize Disc" screen appears. I the "Data Size" area, the bar is green indicating "4.31 GB". I click "OK" and get the following message: "4.50 GB free disk space are required but only 3.94 GB are available. Delete Files to gain free disk space and press 'Retry' or press 'Abort' to stop the operation." Actually I first tried the DVD burn process without the "Customize Size" option with the same results. I have also tried DVD Shrink with the same results as well as updated my version of InstantCopy to 7.1.1. I am running Windows OS 98. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

On the first InstantCopy screen click details. Click the General Tab. Click Advanced Options. Change the temporary directory to a directory that has enough disk space for your project. If you do not have enough disk space I believe the only remedy is acquiring more.

Good Luck

don't know if this will help (i am relatively new to this) but i had a similar problem. maybe you don't have enough disc space on your hard drive! delete some files to create more space on your HARD DRIVE.

If it's trying to make a SINGLE file of that size, then it's hitting the FAT32 filesize limit (4Gb) - not so sur the limit isn't 2Gb in Win98 - for working with large DVD files, WinXP with NTFS format is almost a necessity

Hi mjeep01!

no offence here, but did you doublecheck the drive actually has more then 4.5GB space available ????

Especially if you run a Norton protected Recyclebin space sometimes isnt registered as free again!

Hi LTR12101B :)

InstantCopy always breaks Files down to 1GB, so this is no issue here.
And just for the record: Fat32 SingleFile limit is alwayws 4GB, no matter what os you use ;)
