InstantCopy 8 support

Hi All!

for all those who have been asking :

YES, support for InstantCopy 8 will be added to InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor.
NO, the current Version does not support InstantCopy 8
NO, there will be no support for InstantCopy 8 before it is officially released. And that means available at Pinnacles WebSite & shipped, and not any other means of availability!

This has several reasons. So please be patient!
As soon as InstantCopy 8 is released, support for it will be added as fast as possible!

There is no Version of InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor with IC8 support available yet because:

it has not yet been completed and i have a lack of time for doing so
i dont have all info required to complete it yet (maybe some1 can help out here?)
Betatests are still in progress

to clarify madguy's statement above .....its pretty obvious that if you are using 'INSTANT COPY 8' NOW ....then its prolly NOT LEGIT unless you are an official BETA TESTER of which there are not many !!

is one of the few then...and its not beta to me anymore...so the question came up...cause soon its gonna be available to all...and since this InstantCopy Program of MadGuy is a excellent source....then im sure more request will filter in

InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor, is an excellent little utility, and so what I would like to know, is when will InstantCopy 8 be coming out offficially?

Now that its out, how about the hidden settings support? I have a legitimate non-beta copy IC8 and would like to see the settings editor (the one for IC7 was great

).

IC8 did fix VCD sound issue for me. I will be trying it out on other issues soon.

maybe you can assist me then a bit with bringing InstantCopy Hidden Settings Editor closer to release, it's not in shops here yet, and i need to know the Version & Setup numbers of IC8 Final, so if you could provide these two numbers that would be a great help!

I'm just wondering if you can show proof of having a legit version, I have ICHSE with IC8 support and it seems to be working great but The Mad Guy knows I have a legit version and also knows I won't release ICHSE elsewhere

If people can scan/photo part of the CD/BOX/Receipt and a couple more details to fine tune ICHSE then it will be relleased as soon as a few people can help

I think this is very reasonable due to obvious reasons and if people are willing to prove it then please step forward and say so and you can help in the quick release of ICSHE

I was shipped a copy by Josh French (Josh is the technical support at Pinnacle). I guess this makes it an advanced copy then. I got it just over a week ago.

I was having problems with the sound sync on a VCD and just plain running on a K6-3+ (still won't run even though they say it should). He felt it would solve my problems (did fix the VCD). My discussions with him were through their interactive support section, not the forum.

As far as those numbers... Where do I find them. There doesn't seem to be a help option directly on the program where you usually find "About" and lists a version number.

By the way, I made a copy of the full CD of LOTR without any problems so it looks like they fixed the dark scenes issue.

I know of Josh French from the Pinnacle Forums, as he was very helpful relaying some info back to the Guys regarding bugs I had issues with and they subsequently fixed them. I also know about the registry settings, its one of the 1st things I looked at before even using the program

Due to the fact that IC8 doesn't seem to be in the general publics hands yet, myself and others have chosen not to disclose information that would help IC8 users just yet on how to get the best out of IC8 for obvious reasons

Personally I don't think anyone has recieved a copy of IC8 that they have actually ordered through a website. It's showing on the Pinnacle site that the release date for IC8 is Oct 1st in the UK and they are taking pre-orders. Over at Doom9/DVDRHelp not one person has said they have recieved their copy yet in the way they normally would either. If people have recieved copies they are being very quiet about it

it's upto you whether you edit your post and remove the info or not but just think about what we were trying to do in the 1st place and the reasons behind why we haven't disclosed the information and maybe you will

If you want some help with getting the best settings or some hints then just PM me, that's no problem for me. There is an About feature and I'll also tell you where that is if you want

since the batch processor is not specific for IC8, the one for IC7 is available here

Sorry I was mistaken about the official status. Didn't see anything in my communications with Josh that this was in advance of the official ship and he was posting upgrade links in several of the forum threads. I thought it was out (I did see his message at the top).

The other stuff was in a .txt file that installed with the program (I assumed it wasn't secret). I will update this info out of the thread since its sensitive information.

In the mean time, I will patiently wait for you to post the update.

maybe IC8 is out there somewhere and everyone is so busy playing with it that they haven't got the time to come back and tell us all about it

I've asked on the Pinnacle forum and not one reply yet, does IC8 really exist?

I can't PM you or email you so can you possibly PM me? I'd appreciate it and I can send you a reg file if you want that will change the settings to something better than default

I'm too busy playing to save things, I just go with the flow and boy is it flowing

I'm forever changing things that's all, never the same thing twice

maybe one day I'll stop tweaking and experimenting and I'll actually backup a DVD
