Instant Copy headache

I have InstantCopy 7.0.3.140 and a NEC ND-2100AD DVD+RW drive. I have managed to create an image of a movie on my HD without any problem of the appropriate size. However, when I try to burn the file, I get an error saying the media is inappropriate or not large enough. I have ensured that the image file is small enough (the green bar) to fit on the disc. I've got Maxwell DVD-R 2x. I think that something is messed up with the driver because when I right-click on the drive and choose "Determine Capacity", it says "The device _nec DVD+RW ND-2100AD (D:) is not ready. Check if an appropriate media is inserted". I know that the DVDR Maxwell 2x media is inserted. Any ideas?

I have also downloaded InstantCopy_Update3 (12 mb) and ran that but the version continues to say 7.0.3.140. I thought that it would say 7.1.1?

Hi arnold, Welcome to our forum! :cool:

sorry, i don't have knowledge in DVD backuping; if you are right about media detection it could be a media incompatibility; try media made by Ritek;

or a conflict between competing burning engines:

If I read correctly you are trying dvd-r media in a dvd+r drive.It won't work,you need dvd+r blank media.
