img files on ps2 games

hi there just joined this forum and i dont knoqw what section to post this letter in my problem is that i want to burn a ps2 game for a friend but i think i need i need to get the img from the disc or or convert it to an iso or sumfin im not sure can sumone tell me what steps i need to do and what progams i need to have to burn a ps2 game hope to har from someone
