This is the 5 day projection for Hurricane Rita. I live where the yellow dot is. Local news says we'll be getting high winds, up to 10" of rain, flooding of creeks and rivers and tornado possibilities on Sunday.

The 4 PM projection puts me right in the white area. I'm waiting for the 10PM to come out.

I saw the edge of the clouds starting around 5 PM last night. The eye was landed about 2:38 AM CT. From the projections it looks like we will be hit by the left side of the storm....that's a good thing.

Very good news for me, the Tropical Depression has skirted around to the south and east of me. Still getting some rain, but it looks like the tornados have been avoided. Wheeeeew!
