instead of posting the link, can i include an iframe on my post ?

Code:

or is this considered "leeching" ?

It's cool bud,but unfortunately it contains direct links which are not allowed here. They can be traced back to this site.

don't think so woody. the links will send the address of the page inside the iframe as referrer when clicked.

so, if a user will click on the logo to go to the homepage of betanews, the referrer will be hxxp://www.betanews.com/releases.php3?days=7

somebody please correct me if i'm wrong :)

We do not have an rules that would forbid iframes ..
But we do not really like them here, so please just post the link, wouldn´t confuse the new people here, and especially not the one who are new to the whole internet stuff !

Thanks for understanding :)

no problem here :)

just had an idea to start a thread with iframes of recommended sites so that user can directly view the page without copying and pasting the link. sort of a view-me-everyday-thread to find out what's new with the site without leaving the forum.

glad I asked first :D

I am sorry ...
But some of the sites use popups and some other stuff, and yeah, it might really confuse the newbies, so ...
Posting the links would be best, thanks for your work ! :)
