I'm new to this forum, and I've started getting some trouble with Ifoedit.
I'm using 0.95 on WinXP SP2 with a Sony DVD+RW drive and when I originally downloaded 0.96, it seemd to work ok with DVD Stripper.
Now the 'processing' bar comes up ok in stripper and Ifoedit starts to split the dvd into 2 disks, but when it comes to altering the VOB files for each disk so they all play in the correct order, Ifoedit then comes up with the message,
"Ifoedit has encountered a problem and will shutdown....."
There is an error report with this, but I haven't got a clue what it means...just that it looks huge.
When you click ok, DVD Stripper pops up and finalizes the disk, and gets to work on the second disk for the split.
Same thing happens for disk 2.
Not surprisingly, nothing works.
What's baffling me is that this worked well until about a couple of weeks ago.
Not recently downloaded anything from Microsoft, or anywhere else except 0.95 from the official site to see if the 'stable' versions work! No joy!
I'm going to repeat the process just to grab the error message to post it, but anyone got any ideas from what I've described?
One other thing- I've been told that Ifoedit doesn't run well on WinXP..is this true?
