Hi this is my first post, i'm italian so my english is not so good, hovewer my problem is this:

I haved split 1dvd9 to 2dvd4.7 (keeping menu extra ecc..) using "DVDstripper" (also using directly "ifoedit") but when i play 2nd disc with powerDVD and try to do FastForward, using the Navigation Cursor to jump forward in the chapter, the playback restart always from the begin of the chapter

..with the first disc this not happen and all work correctly..

i have also tryed to split with "dvd-replica", all work fine but the splitting is more slow than ifoedit...

...have someone noticed and resolved this thing?
...have you some suggestion?

Hi and welcome to the forums :)

I've seen chapter skipping issues when you remove chapters from within the middle of a title but not if you split it

I can't understand why it's playing the 1st chapter again as I've had working results whenever I tested splitting DVD's with it

maybe it's all down to a freaky dvd structure and unless I see the IFO's I couldn't really guess what the issue may be :(

...hi,
thanks for the reply...

what happen exactly is that when i go forward with Navigation Cursor the playback restart from the begin of the chapter playing in that time, not the first chapter.
example: if i'm on chapter 16 an try to go forward using Navigation Cursor the playback restart from the begin of chapter 16.

One possibility is that i go too much ahead so i jump to the next chapter(ex chapter 17)

...the movie is xxxxxxxxxxxx i have attach .zip file with the original ifo and the ifo of the 2nd disc..if you can help me in some way i would be glad:)...

thanks

Yes, I have the same problem using CloneDVD (Net).
I have found that running the 'disk 2' through dvdshrink [no compression] does something to smooth out the fast forward navigation in 'Power DVD'. . . .
