Ifoedit crashing

Ok, forcing DS and IfoEdit to use the same processor has allowed it to repeatedly process OK. However I have another issue. It'll process most movie files fine.

However, occasionally I will get the Some Files Have Changed - TimeMap error. This occurs on VOBs that didn't have any menu items and were not even changed.

Another problem I get is Ifoedit will process all the Video VOBs, it will then update the VOB, then it will close the main window but there is a little processing window that shows "Copying Menu VOBs" still on the screen followed by an Ifoedit crash.

Well, it appears as if the crashes did not seem to affect anything. I ran the resultant files through DVDShrink v3.1 without issue. I then burned and it appears to play fine with no issues, everything working in all my stand-alone players and in PowerDVD.

FYI, the Copy Menu Vobs window stated 100% each time it did that.

I guess somehow your PC is working too fast for DVDStripper and Ifoedit and this has affected afew people. The auto menu copying has only been mentioned once before but a few system file swaps later it worked OK

if you get hold of Dependency Walker and run a report, you can send it to me and I can do a compare with mine. I can then send you the files that are different as this is what has worked with users in the past to get rid of issues

Just tried with the files in the FAQ. Same issues as far as TimeMap table and Copying Menu VOBs timed crashes.

Perhaps you should add a dwi report to the FAQ so people can compare. Maybe even make a sticky thread so people can request specific files or make comments on the differences etc.
