IE password help please

Hello folks this is a real newbie question but ah well we were all newbies once so i have reverted to being 8 years old lol

anyway

internet explorer holds my login details but not my passwords i'm confused. how do i get it to hold both login details and passwords is this a re-install or is there an option for me to do this (am i going blind cause i keep checking).

...or change your browser security settings to normal/default- high security settings do not allow storing passwords.
