IE HTTP Error 403-Forbidden

Why is it that when I browse or even download with the word "mp3" I always got this error message:

You are not authorized to view this page

You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

How do I configure my IE to avoid this error?
btw, I'm working on a WAN.

could be that the sites you are going to do not allow connections through your ISP or the time of day you choose they are down or you need to login/register through somewhere on the main site of the urls you are trying to download from.
Thinking back to when my friend had his own ISP, whenever someone had a denial like that, he added permissions in for users to access it (probably something to do with proxies).

Exactly,

An example is the server Tiscali (gettin your MP3 example :p ) Many MP3 (full albums) are uploaded here. The problem is that some "Newbies" forget to put the access to be able to download. That's why you get tht error message.

On others, the reason are the download limits and so on. Shadoe had explained it more than enough I just added some examples ;) .

The only way to solve it is contacting the webmaster or uploader;)

thanks

thanks a lot for your valuable inputs. i really appreciate your time and knowledge being shared to others who need enlightenment and help (like me). Keep up your good job:D

I will talk my webmaster to resolve this issue.

salamat kaayo! (thank you very much)

digitalx,
I see you are in the philippines (from office account or something), as your ip doesn't match one of the bigger known ISPs (pldt/mydestiny).
Anyhow, the ISPs there are well known to block many websites & even programs (morpheus was being blocked by some ISPs there). You will just have to keep trying till you find a place that works.
Good luck

PS
try using software from this site:
h``p://www.zeropaid.com

& use a peer2peer client instead for your mp3 needs

you're right

I just talked with my webmaster and learned that he did not block my WS with "mp3" keywords. You're right it's the ISP. I preferred to DL in my Working Q since it's DSL rather than in my HQ which is at a very negligible speed @ 14.7kbps due to multiplex lines. Anyhow, thanks for the ideas & more power to yah!
